Our Sabbath School philosophy:

We believe that every person of every age can learn about God through experiencing and studying the Bible! Our Sabbath School time and content is geared to communicate how much every child is valued by God, that they are part of God's great big family and story with their own special place in it, and that they are invited into a loving, life-long relationship with Jesus and the church.

Our lessons combine all the treasured elements of traditional Sabbath School--time for prayer, worship, & connection time--with thoughtful Theology, Biblical content, and lots of multi-sensory engagement. We value learning that is screen-free, focused, interactive, and shared by the classroom community. Each age-leveled class has been designed to appeal to and instruct at the appropriate developmental level, and to allow for individual reflection, creative participation, and life-shaping application. Pastor Somer includes each week's lesson topics in our weekly Children's Ministries Updates email so that parents can follow up with weekly learning at home.
